I truly believe we’re ALL multi-passionate in our own way. Maybe some of us tuck it away, convincing ourselves we need to pick one path. But let me tell you - life is so much RICHER when you let yourself explore it all. My story is proof of that. Some of my first memories of creating are vivid: me as a child, turning scraps and bits & pieces into imagined treasures, piecing together whatever I could find into something uniquely mine. I was always sketching too, captivated by people - their expressions, their stories. Portraits became my thing, and I could get lost in this for HOURS.
When it came to school, though, I completely felt the weight of being 'practical.' Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English - I took all the 'serious' subjects everyone said I needed for a 'stable' future. But here’s the thing: my heart NEEDED art. So, I pushed for an exception, adding Fine Art to my list of subjects, and that’s where my love for oil painting blossomed. I spent DAYS pouring my soul into every stroke of the brush, turning blank canvases into portraits that felt alive.
But my creativity didn’t stop there. Music also had a hold on me, so I dived headfirst into learning instruments - violin, piano, keyboard, flute. Each one taught me something different, but here’s the truth: playing the notes wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to feel the music, to express it in ways words and instruments couldn’t. That’s how I discovered dance. I started as a self-taught little dreamer, twirling and leaping to the rhythm. Later, during my university years in London (where I was studying Economics & Finance), I explored and trained in different styles, searching for the one that felt true to who I am. And then, I found it - Heels dance. It wasn’t just a style; it was me. The confidence, the elegance, the fire, the rain, the unapologetic power - it was everything I had been searching for.
For me, being multi-passionate isn’t about doing 'too much' or being 'scattered.' It’s about following the sparks that light your soul on fire and trusting that they’ll lead you somewhere beautiful.
